Job Description

IATSE Local 411, representing Production Coordinators & Craft Serves Providers to the Toronto Film Industry is seeking a highly qualified, collaborative individual, to assist their Executive, and support the team in their member services division. Located in Mississauga, our starting offer is $51K, a full benefits package, and onsite parking.  Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities:

Banking and bookkeeping, reconciliation of Credit Cards, some AP/AR, and processing yearend T4A’s

Analyze weekly fringe benefit reports entering into database

Liaise with benefit providers, creating and reviewing final RRSP and H&W reports

Review staff timesheets, applying approval protocol, and send to payroll

Bond calculations and processing for non approved studios

Answer inquires regarding membership

Process and onboard new members, and manage status changes of current members

Review call sheets, publish availability lists and track work reports

Reporting to the Business Agent, and when needed, communicate with the President and Executive

 

Education and Experience:

University Degree, or College Diploma in accounting

Sage accounting software

CPB designation, or working toward, would be considered an asset

Knowledge of IATSE or unions would be considered an asset

 

Require Skills/Abilities:

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills

Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Proficiency in Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook at an intermediate level

Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize competing interests within tight deadlines
